Donut Excursion: Bob's Coffee and Doughnuts

Do-Ho travels to Los Angeles, California to visit Bob's Coffee and Doughnuts

The Los Angeles Farmer's Market is a 75-year old institution that one really must not miss during a tour of Southern California. The open-air, dynamic setting houses a plethora of shops and foodstands, one of the most popular being Bob's Coffee & Doughnuts.

Kids love the dinosaur donuts...

and big kids love the two-hands required "Texas donut" (just be sure to bring a friend to share it with, or you may find yourself the subject of unsolicited commentary by judgmental tourists).

The Farmer's Market is full of history: It's said that Walt Disney designed Disneyland while sitting at a table here, and that James Dean ate breakfast here on the day he died in a tragic car crash in 1955. Is it possible his last meal was a "Giant" Texas donut?
